The City of Chicago and Chicago Parking Meters, LLC. wanted to provide a mobile payment service to motorists and city dwellers and so they called on Futureman to design and develop the Park Chicago identity and experiences.

+ Solution

Futureman began by redesigning all of the city’s street parking signs and collateral. Then, with the Park Chicago identity firmly established, used the brand attributes to design and develop both the desktop site and the mobile application payment process. Included in both was also the production of an overview video explaining how the platform works and the service it provides to its users.

+ results

Today, the mobile payment app and website service 36,000 meter locations in the city. As the third largest city in the U.S., other global cities are using the work Futureman did in conjunction with ParkChicago as a baseline for launching similar services in their metropolitan areas.

Futureman continues to remain a trusted design and development partner of ParkChicago’s and was just recently tasked with designing uniforms for their street teams.
